Few things in life are more important than connecting with nature and the benefits of an active lifestyle are well documented. The Thorp city council and tourism commission are committed to providing the best small town parks in Wisconsin to our residents.

Service animals are allowed in all park locations. Please bring documentation to support service status.

Conway Park

701 S. Adams St, Thorp, WI 54771

Conway Park, in Thorp, WI, is a 12-acre park, located in the southwest corner of the city on South Adams Street. About half of the park is wooded and features a trail for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. The park also features playground equipment, a basketball court, and a small picnic shelter.

Garrison Park

Garrison Park, in Thorp, WI, is a .10 acre park located on North Washington Street, nestled on Thorp's quaint and active main street. It offers a spot to sit and relax, eat lunch, or meet friends. It features shade trees, a gazebo, picnic tables, and benches. Stop by for a few minutes or a mid-day respite. You've earned it.

Keating Park

550 N. Boardman St, Thorp, WI 54771

1.8 acre Keating Park is located in the northeast part of the city on N. Boardman St. This hidden gem lies just north of the train tracks on the east side of Washington Street and features playground equipment, a lighted basketball court, picnic tables, benches, and a drinking fountain. Enjoy your summer days and nights right here.

Northside Park

Northside Park, in Thorp, WI, is an 11.1-acre park, located at the northern city limits on STH 73. The park features a fenced and lighted baseball field with a concession stand and dugouts. It also features multiple pavilions, flush toilets, four campsites, and hosts several community events including Dairy Days and the Demolition Derby.

Tucker James Memorial Dog Park

County Rd X, Thorp, WI 54771

The Tucker James Memorial Dog Park is a fenced in canine-approved off-leash park .6 miles East of Washington Street on Hwy X. You will find the park on your left hand side. Most of the maintenance and care for the park is done by a family that has adopted the park through our Adopt-a-Park program. There are poop bags and garbage cans provided. Please follow this simple rule and keep this park enjoyable for everyone!

Veteran's Memorial Park

175 S. Washington St, Thorp, WI 54771

Respect is not something given, but rather it is earned. The veterans across this great nation deserve that respect. Veteran's Memorial Park was created to honor them and the sacrifices they have made on our behalf. Located on S. Washington Street on the banks of McGrogan Creek, Veteran's Park is .25-acres. The park features an army tank and hosts Memorial Day activities each year.

Yellowstone Trail Park

320 E. Stanley St, Thorp, WI 54771

5.5 acre Yellowstone Trail Park, formerly known as City Park, is located in central Thorp along the Yellowstone Trail (CTH X or E. Stanley St.). It features playground equipment, a windmill, fenced and lighted tennis courts, a walking/bike trail, an ice skating rink with warming house and pavilion, 3 sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a large pavilion, and flush toilets.
