Duties may include but are not limited to: lawn mowing and trimming, street maintenance, general maintenance of City facilities and equipment, and assist the Utility Department when needed. Must posses a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL a plus). Applicants must be capable of performing a wide range of physically demanding work in various conditions. Work could start May 1st and continue through September, but applicants are expected to be able to work most of the summer with infrequent absences. Applications are due at Thorp City Hall by noon on Friday, April 26, 2024, and can be picked up at City Hall or printed from the City of Thorp website ( www.cityofthorp.com ).
